Editing & Review

If you are struggling to meet provincial requirements for mapping, reporting, or site forms, then you might benefit from our editing and review services. Making use of our familiarity with BC Archaeology Branch standards and guidelines, as well as our keen attention to detail, we provide feedback on where your submissions are falling short and how to best improve them. Better submissions lead to less project delays and fewer headaches for everyone involved.

Authoring

Do you have a long to-do list but not enough time to do anything? Let us help you out. If you send along the data from your field study, we can assist in report writing and site form package compilation. We have experience authoring final permit reports, interim reports, preliminary field reconnaissance reports, and miscellaneous non-permit reports. We can also help with any site forms or permit applications that need attention.

Mapping

Maps are a crucial part of archaeology in BC and are required for permit applications, reports, site forms, and more. We utilize QGIS to create maps that clearly display data that you have gathered in the field to meet provincial standards.

Training

We strongly believe that it’s never too late to learn something new. Our training sessions help both new and seasoned archaeologists become more familiar with provincial standards. Training can be shaped to meet your specific needs. Do you have a newly hired archaeologist that is struggling with site forms? Or perhaps mapping has been beyond your team’s capability? Don’t worry, we’ll get them up to speed!
